History on Banknotes: Nizami Ganjavi

Nizami Ganjavi: Spelled many different ways Nizami Ganjavi was a 12th century Persian poet whose influence in poetry is considered great throughout the Persian Gulf. Not much is truly known of the life Ganjavi lived, all the remains are his works. Ganjavi was never considered a major poet of his time, yet he is considered the "greatest romantic epic poet" in all of Persia.
